How It All Began


What I really missed from home was my dark Rye bread, which always featured in the middle of the dinner table when I grew up. A staple addition to any breakfast or the famous Scandinavian open sandwich. After living in the UK for nearly 26 years I have always struggled to get hold of a seriously good rye bread and then I had an idea:
In 2023, I created RÅG, which by the way means Rye in Swedish, out of a passion for incredible flavours and a desire to produce this delicious rye bread available for all to try, hopefully welcome into their homes - and make it a regular feature of any brunch or gathering. After sampling this award winning dark rye bread my hope is you will agree - it is delicious!
I don't really call myself a baker, more of a cook or a food producer with an obsession with good flavours and tasty recipes. My happy place is the kitchen or a table full of home cooked food, surrounded by friends.
I am so excited to finally be able to share my favourite product from Sweden with you!
